The guest ranch that is hosting the class and my hunts is pretty impressive. The classroom portion and meals are conducted in the lodge:

As I mentioned in my last post the property is thick with Blacktail Deer… I finally caught them on film today:
I also spotted some Wild Turkey as well.
Spending two days on the line, talking with life-long hunters and hunting guides has gotten me even more excited about taking my first deer. These guys have hunted and/or fished for every edible animal in North America. For truly good eats several recommended bear, which is pretty cool.

A four wheel drive, why am I not surprised? Never mind that your gaz guzzler is going to kill half the population in Indonesia when the arctic melts, they’re third world slave workers anyway! You can’t wait to “take” a dear? Dears are not yours to take, they belong to Gaia like we all do.
