I asked my friends who came with to share their thoughts on the class.

PRE-CLASS MATERIALS
I thought they gave a lot of good content (e.g. http://www.frontsight.com/student-prep-manual.asp); however, the readability is a bit poor.
CURRICULUM
During the first morning, I thought the teaching was a little rushed; as they were teaching us a lot of tactics without teaching us how to hold the gun. However, as the class progressed, I changed my mind and realized that this was a good approach. As a true beginner, I think it was more important for me to get comfortable with just using the gun. I thought, overall, the way they mixed up class time, with shooting, with learning on the range was done quite well. By day 4, honestly, I was completely over holding a gun and kind of tired of the class, but they did a good job of making the last day more fun with having a fun competition that broke up the monotony of the general teaching structure. I thought this was great, as I thought it was one of the more fun parts of the class.
INSTRUCTORS:
I have nothing to compare them to, but I thought they were awesome. I appreciated the patience, and felt they were on top of what everyone was doing. Plus they were fun and funny! I surprisingly felt VERY safe, the entire time – which was a concern of mine before joining the course.
MIX OF SEASONED SHOOTERS AND BEGINNERS
So this is the part that surprised me the most. I wasn’t expecting others to come back to the same class multiple times to freshen up on their skills. I felt like by splitting the class up by more seasoned shooters with beginners, was a great strategy. I definitely learned most my new skills from seasoned gun owners. The guys I worked with were former sheriffs, former military, former front sight students and ones who had experiences defending their own homes and family. Learning from their experiences was extremely helpful for me. The former sheriff gave me a free certificate so that I could come back and try out the class again, as he apparently got many certificates to give out as a member!
OTHER
I recommend shooting the uzi – that might have been my favorite 30 seconds of the entire weekend!

I really appreciated the lectures on
ethical / moral considerations and civil / criminal liability. Laid a healthy mantle of responsibility on top of the skills training. Very impressed with training and outcome. thought I could’ve used a touch more personal attention as a total newbie, but instructors were very open to questions. I’ve described the class to friends as intense, tiring, and AMAZING. definitely recommend. Will probably come back and bring more friends!

The trip was a total success. Thank you so much for all the time and effort you put into organizing it! The instruction was superb. I plan on coming back to front sight and bringing friends and family, and taking the advanced tactics course myself eventually.
